Skaggs Jasper is a rare and sought-after variety of jasper that was historically found in the Ochoco Mountains near Prineville, Oregon. We spent a whole day traipsing around the woods looking for it back in 2022. This unique stone is known for its striking teal color, often exhibiting brecciated patterns that add to its visual appeal. Due to its limited availability, Skaggs Jasper has become increasingly difficult to find, with most specimens now sourced from old collections. We are one of a handful of lapidaries utiizing this stunning PNW material. As with other jaspers, this stone is spiritually great for grounding.
